Pedigrees

Chickadee Cockers requires the following information before

we will allow a Stud to be used by outside Breeders:

Your Full name and address
Your Kennel's Full Name and Address
Your Dog's Pedigree and Clearances
Who you want to use for stud purposes and what are you looking to get in the resulting puppies

If you do not have a kennel, why you are looking to breed?
and can you fullfill the following requirements listed below?

We Do Not approve of breedings if the resulting puppies are for, or you do not have,
Puppy Mills, Pet Stores, or Puppy Brokers.
If you want your children to witness the "miracle" of Birth,(videos are available for this)
If you think your Bitch will become a better dog if She has at least one litter.(You are better to Spay, as you will reduce your dog's chances of having Ovarian cancer by 90% , more if you have her spayed before She has a heat)
Do you have Eye clearances?
Has your dog had her hips OFA'd? Elbows are optional.
Do you have a Pedigree?
Is your Dog at least 2 years old and has been cleared health wise by a Veterinarian to have puppies?
Is your dog AKC Registered?
Are you fully prepared to whelp a litter and raise the pups until 8weeks of age?
Are you sure you can place the puppies in appropiate homes with spay/neuter contracts, and you WILL NOT sell the puppies as breeding dogs?(if you are a private Breeding Kennel and approved by Chickadee's this requirement will not apply to the Private Treaty)
